About Vicki Rothman
Who I am
As a Career Counselor with over 25 years of experience, my practice has become focused on women. Beginning your first career? Single or Married and figuring out how to navigate work? Starting a family and plan to return to work after baby is born? Re-entering the workforce after time off? Mid-life career changer? Need help with retirement career planning? I have helped hundreds of women choose new careers, tweak current careers, and plan for retirement rather than reacting to retiring. Birth Doula and Post-Partum Doula trainings help me incorporate this important life stage of family planning and working as you raise children.
My Approach
Through career assessments and in-depth conversations, I help you navigate your stage of life and career you are experiencing. Personal and work values, interests, and skills are discussed so you can make an informed decision. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is given so you understand yourself in relation to others and the workforce.
For women, work-life balance is always a challenge. My joy is in helping women navigate this. I love helping women with interview prep and salary negotiations to ensure you get paid your value. Retirement is a challenging transition, and working with women on this has become a part of my practice.
Through a combination of career counseling and coaching, I will help you navigate your journey with clarity and confidence.
My Commitment
Your success is my priority. I am committed to providing honest, actionable advice and unwavering support throughout your career journey. I stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that my clients have the most current and relevant information to make informed decisions about their careers. My dual approach of career coaching and counseling provides both practical strategies and deeper insights.
