Who I am
With over 30 years of experience and a masters degree in Career Counseling, I have dedicated my career to heading the Career Services Center at Santa Monica College, a community college in Los Angeles. Additionally, I have taught Career Counseling and Coaching at both UCLA and SMC throughout my career. 10 years ago, I started seeing professionals privately after realizing the impact and effectiveness of my work.
I believe the key to good career coaching and counseling is understanding who you are, what are your values, what are your skills, and what change if any is needed to help you achieve what you want. I specialize in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and believe through this and other career assessments, we can have fruitful conversations to not only help you understand yourself better, but discover what career path fits best with you.
Who I Help
You can be new to the workforce, have anywhere between 5-20 years' work experience, re-entering the workforce after raising families, recently laid off from your job or nearing retirement and planning what it will look like. I have helped them all.
Through a combination of career counseling and coaching, I will help you navigate this journey with clarity and confidence.
My Approach
You can be of any age, background, financial situation, or career-I've helped them all. Young Adults in High School want to map out their lives-from their major to their career path. And middle aged adults want to pivot careers, But more often than not, those that get the most out of my guidance are just like you—ambitious professionals in their late 20s to mid-career who feel stuck, unfulfilled, and ready for a change.

You want to understand what else is out there, what your strengths and values are, and what you want to get out of the rest of your career in terms of lifestyle, money, and purpose.
